I’ve been in tech for almost 20 years now, and I’m excited to share all that I’ve learned with you. I started out programming as a teenager, creating tools and utilities for the games that I loved. Fresh into college, I got my first job as a QA intern, and was soon promoted to a database developer. Leadership quickly discovered my ability to find creative solutions to difficult problems, and I moved up to work on big data projects before “Big Data” was in vogue.

From there, I moved onto consulting as an architect, working with government contractors in the personnel security industry. I worked with multiple companies to write bespoke code which streamlined their security clearance process. Our company was able to monetize this and move from a startup with a dream to a 7 figure valuation during my tenure.

Afterwards, I moved onto healthcare where I helped a startup get their infrastructure under compliance and successfully navigate several audits. I was able to help them automate their entire infrastructure and took over as the lead implementer; eventually eliminating the need for their off-shore teams.

Not content with floating easy on all of that automation, I decided to move onto an early learning company. There, I was able to help reduce their infrastructure costs by hundreds of thousands through analytics, right-sizing, and more effective use of cloud technologies. In addition, I improved developer efficiency by streamlining processes and successfully migrating their entire CI/CD process to the cloud.
